Welcome to Amor – I’m Meredith Barcham and Amor is my baby. I have a Dip. Visual Arts and Design and started in Wedding Photography over 10 years ago helping a friend and colleague with his weddings and eventually starting my own business.

I’ve always loved photography and the magic and fascination of capturing a moment in time. When I was growing up both my grandfathers were keen on taking photos. One was more intrigued by the landscapes and cityscapes he saw when travelling and the other, well, he just used to document everything! My ballet costumes, my ballet recitals, us kids playing cricket on Christmas day (because Mum was sick of us being inside!), my brother riding around on his miniature motorbike, me riding my horse, and the shame of it – me working at my first afterschool job! But he had a passion and I loved that! I always wanted to feel something that much ... and when he gave me my first camera I felt the first pangs of that passion and ever since then its continued to grow.

I love LOVE. Watching two people so totally immersed in each other is an amazing thing and I feel very honoured to be able to share that with them.
