James & Erin Harper were married at Cape Estate, Te Awanga on 16 January. It drizzled for a good part of the day and seemed to be clearing just as I was heading out to where Erin was getting ready. Unfortunately I was too quick to count my lucky stars as the heavens opened up. Some say its good luck when it rains on your wedding day and fortunately the rain didn’t seem to dampen spirits. The weather was the only disappointment and everyone seemed to have a great time. Erin’s smile was radient even as we headed out into the weather to take some photos at Parkhill Estate, not far from their venue in Te Awanga. The umbrellas came in very handy as props for the shoot. All in all it was a great day and I hope the rest of the evening was just as enjoyable, even with the rain.
